Unable to read or write legibly until the fourth grade, Ann knows what it feels like to struggle with reading. This allows her to write with a tremendous understanding of the child's perspective. After her early difficulties, Ann went on to obtain her BSN from Vanderbilt University and her Masters of Education from Virginia Tech. Today she is a homeschooling mother of three, wife, educator, and author. She currently resides with her family on a miniature horse farm in New Springfield, Ohio.
